Advanced Zabbix Security Administration training

This one-day advanced training is for Zabbix engineers who want to strengthen the security of their monitoring infrastructure through proven best practices and advanced configuration techniques.

The live course provides an in-depth look at securing and administering a Zabbix environment. Topics include secure communication between Zabbix components, hardening the Zabbix frontend and server, granular user roles and permissions, access control, encryption for agents and proxies, and techniques for protecting sensitive data. Participants will gain deeper insight into Zabbix’s security mechanisms, common vulnerabilities, and potential risks, helping them build a robust monitoring solution for enterprise and regulated environments.

The training combines expert-led theory with hands-on exercises in a dedicated virtual lab environment provided by our team. You will configure PSK- and certificate-based encryption, establish secure user roles and permissions, identify security misconfigurations, and apply practical hardening techniques. Based on real-world security scenarios, the exercises can be adapted to a wide range of infrastructure environments.

Lab access is available throughout the training and for an additional 24 hours afterward, allowing participants to revisit exercises and reinforce their knowledge.

You will receive comprehensive course materials, including presentation slides, lab guides, and configuration examples, to serve as a valuable reference for applying the concepts in production environments.

After completing the Advanced Zabbix Security Administration training, participants will be able to design, configure, secure, and maintain a Zabbix environment in line with modern security best practices.
